Maundy Thursday Service – HELD AT FAITH LUTHERAN

Maundy Thursday is also known as Holy Thursday.  It is the first of the three days leading up to and following Jesus’ crucifixion. The service includes the washing of feet and communion.  It is celebrated by Fr Tim.

  The Stations of the Cross, also known as Way of the Cross,  are a devotion that honors Jesus’ last day as a man. Each station focuses on specific events of that day as described in the Gospels, beginning with his trial.

Veneration of the cross is the most austere church event of the liturgical year. Believed to have originated in the the fourth century, the veneration was included in the 1979 Book of Common Prayer. Essentials Pantry

The Pantry serves all those in need in the Windham area.  We are a ministry of Christian hospitality and service to the community. Enter the pantry through the lower side door and we provide you with a bag of cleaning products and personal hygiene products provided by parishioners, local businesses, and benevolent organizations in the Greater Windham area.

Eucharistic Services

The Eucharist, or “Mass” includes communion where all are welcome at the table of the Lord, as well as readings, the Gospel, and a sermon. Our 8 am service is more contemplative, our 10 am service is more celebratory. The Eucharist is celebrated by our priest, deacon, and lay leaders.  Children’s Sunday is celebrated at the the 10am service on the first…

Family Breakfast

Join us for food and fellowship.  Typically includes scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, French toast, juice, coffee, tea. Sometimes the Band of Kitchen Brothers and Sisters add treats like baked beans.  There is a suggested donation of $5 per person or $10 per family.
